The other reviewers must have been paid to leave reviews, because this book is terrible. There are typos the planet over, including on the back cover. The formatting is way off, with random spacing and weird line breaks. It looks like someone typed it on their computer and then hired a print on plea company to print it and never proofed it.

This lack of attention to point translates into the make pleased, as well, as it reads like a bunch of unfinished notes instead of actual strategies you can use. Seriously, the last 10 chapters are not anything more than bulleted lists of unfinished thoughts that provide unquestionably no guidance on how to accomplish whatever thing. Stay away from this book if you value your time and money.

Instead, look at the 4 Hour Workweek and Master Internet Marketing.

It appears to me Leigh Burke did his research and gathered the best of other niche internet marketing books and paraphrased them into a nice small Internet marketing book of his own. If you have read any of Rosalind Gardner’s books you will see the similarities. Although there is not anything new or enlightening in this rehash of niche marketing, Burke does place it together in an simple to read, well covered, condensed topic. It’s a excellent read if it’s your first niche marketing book and want to learn about the theme and the steps. But, If you are by now in the game and have read other older successful marketer’s books, then you’ll find yourself wet fingering your way promptly to the last page.

I have some experience in IM, but still found myself thinkging “Why didn’t I reckon of that?”

Leigh has a fantastic way with words and can distil a complex topic or technique down into simple, simple to stay on steps that anyone can stay on.

In my opinion, what makes a excellent business book is strategies and real life examples that you can take and apply yourself.

Niche Internet Marketing, is more like a workbook where you are given a task to do at the end of each chapter. I like this kind of learning, it helps me to focus, and ensures I retain what I have learnt.

The second aspect of a fantastic business book, is the ability to use it as a allusion guide. That way, you get value out of your buy again and again. This book gets aptly down to the meat without a lot of fluff. At the end of each chapter there are actionable steps. But, what impressed me the most were some of the techniques used in this book were completely new to me and I have read a number of other books on this theme. I found some of these thoughts very valuable and the book is worth buying for these unique thoughts alone. Stopping PR leak, linking websites to improve PR of the landing page, haven’t heard these thoughts anywhere else. The importance of off-site versus on-site work. This book was an eye opener for me.
